Biography
Monica is the older of two brothers. Her mother's name is Gloria and she was the 3rd finalist in the contest Miss Venezuela in 1964, and she traveled to Palma de Mayorca to compete in the Miss International. Monica´s father was Italian and his name was Gianfranco Pasqualotto. Her brother Giancarlo Pasqualotto is also an actor and singer.
Despite she has artistic abilities, she wanted to study medicine, years later when she had to pick up a carrier; she decided to study “Social Communication” in the University Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas. In the time she was in the university, she began to study acting with some teachers, without neglecting the singing and dancing lessons. In 1991 she started to work with the Payasitas Nifu Nifa and in 1991 she recorded in Chelique Sarabia´s studio the first album of her own child group "The Trapolinas". This first album had 12 tracks all of her authorship.
In the last year of the university her teacher of producing and directing TV, Daniel Benahim invited her to supply Erika de La Vega in a Televen program named Ticket, co-host with Daniel Carles, after that her success started in television, radio, film and theater. In May 2009 she traveled with Ralph Kinnard to the Cannes Festival in France to participate in the film festival with the movie “A mi me gusta”, which she stars.
Also in 2009 created with Kinnard the producer Coco Films and by the end of the year will be in United States managed by Coco Productions, company which will produce the first feature film named “One”.
